The Reframed Brain
The Reframed Brain (TRB) is a wellness platform and mental health community that centers brain health and unseen injuries. Founder and host, Erica Savage created The Reframed Brain after surviving being hit twice by an 18 wheel truck while traveling for work in March 2021. Erica’s own life altering experience of a brain injury and polytrauma care of up to 9 practitioners, physicians and therapists forced her to pivot from her career as a political executive and use her years in media to bring awareness of techniques, tools and modalities to create + sustain environments of wellness. TRB achieves this through podcasting, masterclasses, writings and live experiences featuring guests that range from medical practitioners to therapeutic and wellness experts. Jocelyn Vaughn is living proof that there is life beyond where you come from. This East Atlanta native developed a passion to make resources more accessible to the community early on. Whether expanding programs or helping the public connect with existing organizations and services, she has spent more than a decade doing just that. As a survivor of trauma, she strives to make an impact within her community as a servant leader. Her hope is to eradicate shame and stigma surrounding health matters like HIV, mental health and sexual abuse and to empower others to lead the discussion about risk reduction, prevention, treatment but most importantly - healing. When she is not working hard in the name of advocacy and prevention, she enjoys spending time reading and writing, as she is soon to be a published author.
Jocelyn is an alum of the “Unsinkable” Albany State University and later served as an University System of Georgia Ambassador at the Autonomous University of Yucatán in Mexico.
